Pavilion Prize
The Abu Dhabi Art Pavilion Prize was launched in 2017, inviting university students from across the United Arab Emirates to develop architectural proposals for a Pavilion. Each year the winning design is realised at the Abu Dhabi Art fair and seen by thousands of visitors. It is conceived as a temporary structure that remains during the art fair week, with the potential to be repurposed or relocated.

Winner: Mariam Al Tamimi (Zayed University) with the concept ‘The Alert Pavilion’
Runners-up: Zakia Al Ameri, Ayah AlKhatib & Rand Tayfour (Abu Dhabi University) with the concept ‘Hawa’
2022
Winners: AlZaina Lootah, Lara Zareeni & Sahil Rattha Singh (American University of Sharjah) with the concept ‘Zaman’
Runners-up: Basant Helal, Heba Hejji, Maya Wacily & Tasneem Elmandouh (Abu Dhabi University) with the concept ‘Al Masar’
