In these terms and conditions “DCT”, “we”, “our” or “us” means the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and its affiliates. We are an Abu Dhabi government entity and have our office at Nation Towers, Building B, Corniche, Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Intellectual Property Rights
The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi is the owner or the licensee of all Intellectual Property Rights (as defined below) in the Content (as defined below). Our Intellectual Property Rights are protected by United Arab Emirates and international copyright laws and treaties. All such rights are reserved.
In these terms and conditions, "Intellectual Property Rights" means intellectual property rights and includes: (i) copyright, patents, database rights and rights in trademarks, designs, know- how and confidential information (whether registered or unregistered); (ii) applications for registration, and the right to apply for registration, for any of these rights; (iii) all other intellectual property rights and equivalent or similar forms of protection existing anywhere in the world; and (iv) any licenses, permissions or rights to use obtained by a third party owner of intellectual property to use the Content on our Platforms; and "Content" means our Platforms, including but not limited to the underlying HTML, text, graphics, logos, button icons and images, audio clips, video clips, digital downloads, data compilations (as well as the organization and lay out of our Platforms), software and other content, including third party external service providers, published and made available to you on our Platforms.
You may print off one copy, and may download extracts, of any page(s) from our Platforms for your personal, non-commercial use only. Except for the temporary copy held in your computer's cache and a copy for your personal reference, the Content may not otherwise be used, stored, reproduced, published, altered or transmitted in any form or by any means in whole or part without our prior written approval or the written approval of the relevant Intellectual Property Rights owner or licensor.

If we provide desktop, mobile or other applications for download, you may download a single copy to your computer or mobile device solely for your own personal, non-commercial use, provided you agree to be bound by our end user license agreement for such applications. If we provide social media features with certain content, you may take such actions as are enabled by such features.

Third Party products
We may offer you the ability to book Abu Dhabi tours, tickets, attractions, activities, events and other leisure experiences "Products” that are advertised on our Platforms and are made available by a third-party supplier “Supplier".
By booking any of these Products you will enter into a direct contract with the Supplier “Booking”. DCT is not a supplier of these Products, and your contract for supply of the Product you book will be directly between you and the applicable Supplier.
If you make a Booking, you agree to review and be bound by the applicable Supplier's terms and conditions and any other rules or policies related to the Product as available on the Booking confirmation page.
Under no circumstances shall DCT be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, exemplary or consequential damages arising out of, or in any way connected with, a Product or a Booking made available on our Platforms.
The owner of the Platforms is based in the United Arab Emirates. We make no claims that the Platforms or any of their content are accessible or appropriate outside of the United Arab Emirates. Access to the Platforms may not be legal by certain persons or in certain countries. If you access the Platforms from outside the United Arab Emirates, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.

Limitation of Liability
In no event will DCT, its affiliates or their licensors, service providers, employees, agents, officers or directors be liable for damages of any kind, under any legal theory, arising out of or in connection with your use, or inability to use, the Platforms, any websites linked to them, any content on the Platforms or such other websites or any services or items obtained through the Platforms, including any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, including but not limited to, personal injury, pain and suffering, emotional distress, loss of revenue, loss of profits, loss of business or anticipated savings, loss of use, loss of goodwill, loss of data, and whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract or otherwise, even if foreseeable.
DCT will not be liable or responsible to any person or entity for any injury, loss, or damage caused or alleged to be caused directly or indirectly as a result of the use or interpretation of the material, or from taking part in any activity or event, featured on our Platforms. DCT will not be liable for the actions, omissions, or advice of any third party that has been introduced by DCT to users as part of, or otherwise through our Platforms.

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless DCT, its affiliates, licensors and service providers, and its and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses or fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these terms and conditions or your use of the Platforms and, any use of the Platforms’ content, services and products other than as expressly authorized in these terms and conditions or your use of any information obtained from the Platforms.
Use of personal information
We do not guarantee that our Platforms will be secure or free from bugs or viruses. You are responsible for configuring your information technology, computer programmes and platform to access our Platforms. You should use your own virus protection software.
You must not misuse our Platforms by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our Platforms, the server on which our Platforms are stored or any server, computer or database connected to our Platforms. You must not attack our Platforms via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of service attack. By breaching this provision, you would commit a criminal offence. We will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and we will co-operate with those authorities by disclosing your identity to them. In the event of such a breach, your right to use our Platforms will cease immediately.

You may link to our home page, provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it. Any legal suit, action or proceeding arising out of, or related to, these terms and conditions or the Platforms shall be instituted exclusively in the courts of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, although we retain the right to bring any suit, action or proceeding against you for breach of these terms and conditions in your place or country of residence or any other relevant country. You waive any and all objections to the exercise of jurisdiction over you by such courts and to venue in such courts.
