Majlis Fann, a newly initiated cultural forum and platform curated by Reem Fadda was held during the 8th edition of Abu Dhabi Art from 16 to 19 November at Manarat Al Saadiyat.
Majlis Fann was a two-tiered programme which comprised of a series of curated talks and panel discussions with distinguished art world figures to engage in dialogue on the evolution of the local, regional and international art scene. It also hosted an exclusive cultural platform of VIP events catered to patrons and practitioners from the international arts community.
Abu Dhabi Art’s Majlis Fann daily programme showed fair visitors a diverse and interactive perspective on global trends reflecting the exceptional calibre of contemporary cultural practice for which Abu Dhabi Art is renowned for. It also aimed at building new invested constituencies and fosters a broader audience committed to celebrating art from within the UAE and the Middle East.
Abu Dhabi Art is a distinctive platform that celebrates the vitality of Abu Dhabi and its ever-changing contemporary art scene. Evolving and adapting to the on-going development of the cultural landscape in the Saadiyat Cultural District and the emirate of Abu Dhabi, the fair embodies the cultural intrigue and creative ambition that defines the city.
