In partnership with Abu Dhabi Culture
As an Official Partner at Frieze London this year, Abu Dhabi Culture presents a special showcase of the 2024 artworks by Emirati artist Lamya Gargash, commissioned by Abu Dhabi Art for Frieze London 2025.
Gargash’s installation features golden draping gestures that trace the connections between the UAE and the UK—symbolising direction, spirituality, and unity. Her work reflects on shared histories and evolving cultural ties, offering a contemplative dialogue between place, heritage, and contemporary expression.
Visit the Abu Dhabi Art Lounge at Frieze London to discover more. Throughout the week, the Lounge will serve as a vibrant hub of conversation and connection, spotlighting voices shaping the future of art across the globe.
From dynamic discussions on the evolving role of art fairs in the global market to thoughtful debates redefining representation within museum collections, the programme has brought together leading curators, directors, and cultural advocates to share new perspectives.
Open throughout Frieze London, the Lounge continues to celebrate dialogue and collaboration between Abu Dhabi and the international art community—affirming the Emirate’s growing role as a global platform for cultural exchange and creative innovation.
