Durub Al Tawaya offer visitors the opportunity to engage with contemporary performance art through the performing arts programme. The programme will see site-specific performances throughout Abu Dhabi Art and in different locations throughout the city.

The title of the programme is inspired by the long paths (durub in Arabic) taken across the desert; tawaya which refers to underground water springs and to taway, which denotes layers of meaning in classical Arabic, and stands for ideas and values that are revealed as they unfold.
