Vibha Galhotra

Vibha Galhotra (b. 1978, Chandigarh, India) completed her BFA in Graphics from the Chandigarh College of Arts in 1999, and completed her MFA in Graphics from the Kala Bhavan, Santiniketan in 2001. She was the Asian Cultural Council Fellow in the US in 2017, and the recipient of the prestigious Rockefeller Grant at their Bellagio Center in 2016. She also received the Young Women Achievers Award given by Young FICCI Ladies Organisation (YFLO) in 2015. Galhotra has had solo exhibitions at Jack Shainman Gallery, New York (2015, 2012); San Giovanni Valdarno, Italy (2015); and Mk search art gallery, Italy (2013); She has also participated in several group exhibitions at the Metropolitan State University of Denver; San Jose Museum of Art; William Benton Museum of Art, Connecticut; Sheila C. Johnson Design Center at The New School, New York; Kemper Museum of Contemporary, Kansas City, Missouri; Galerie Perrotin, Paris; and the Dhaka Art Summit amongst others. Her works have been collected by the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art; Pizzuti Collection; Casa Masaccio Arte Contemporanea; Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation; Singapore Art Museum; Essl Museum Austria; Devi Art Foundation; Casoria Contemporary Art Museum, Italy; Gut Gasteil, Austria; Saga Art College, Japan; and the Europas Parkas, Lithuania.
