
The 16th edition of the fair was held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, with the support of a Host Committee chaired by Her Highness Sheikha Salama bint Hamdan Al Nahyan. Taking place annually each November, Abu Dhabi Art is the culmination of a year-round visual arts programme. The fair brings together leading local and international galleries presenting artworks for sale, alongside curated exhibitions, artist commissions, and site-specific installations showcased both within the fair and across the emirate.

This year’s commissioned artists include Ahmad Al Dhaheri, Dina Mattar, Manal Mahamid. The exhibition activated key sites across Al Ain and ran from 20 | 11 | 24 to 30 | 4 | 2025, presented in partnership with HSBC.


This year, the participating artists delve into the hidden layers of our landscape, weaving together stories of environmental symbiosis and historical memory. These commissions give voice to the land itself, exploring its capacity to endure and transform across the UAE. This year’s exhibition explores the creative and political dialogues between Latin America and the Arab world, curated by Odessa Warren and Carine Harmand. By highlighting South-South networks and shared histories, the show moves away from traditional narratives to present new perspectives in visual art.


The Farjam Foundation presents the exhibition Arab Presences: Modern Art and Decolonization Paris 1908- 1988 – Farjam Collection Close-Up, curated by Morad Montazami.


This year’s partners showcase philanthropic projects, initiatives, and collaborative installations produced by House of Artisans.


Bridging art and technology, UAE university students were mentored by Afra Al Dhaheri and Marina Fedorova to create a digital animation and kinetic installation. Through playful interaction with everyday objects, the work explores personal biographies and a sense of nostalgia.


This year’s Pavilion Prize competition, themed ‘Why Do Materials Die Young,’ was won by students Abdulla Abbas, Omar Darwish, and Salama AlHammadi (American University of Sharjah), whose design highlights the impact of climate change and construction waste through the use of sustainable and recycled materials.


Curators, artists and academics discussed varied topics at the fair. Guest speakers and panelists, including participants in Abu Dhabi Public Art Biennale and Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, alongside an array of local and international speakers.
