Dr. Omar Kholeif is a writer, curator, editor and broadcaster. Over the last decade, he has curated more than 100 exhibitions, special projects and commissions globally. He authored and or edited more than twenty books and/or catalogues on art including most recently, Goodbye World! Looking at Art Art in the Digital Age (Sternberg Press) and The Artists Who Will Change The World (Thames and Hudson, both 2018). Kholeif is currently serving as co-curator of Sharjah Biennial 14; curator of the V-A-C Pavilion at the 58th Venice Biennale; Senior Visiting Curator at HOME, Manchester, and as a guest curator for Manchester International Festival. Previously, Kholeif was Manilow Senior Curator and Director of Global Initiatives at the MCA Chicago; Curator at Whitechapel Gallery, London, and Senior Curator at Cornerhouse, Manchester. His multiple curatorial projects include, Focus: Middle East, North Africa and the Mediterranean at the Armory Show, New York; the Abraaj Group Art Prize; the Cyrus Pavilion at the 56th Venice Biennale, and the Liverpool Biennial.
