The Abu Dhabi Art Pavilion Prize was launched in 2017, inviting university students from across the United Arab Emirates to develop architectural proposals for a Pavilion. Each year the winning design is realised at the Abu Dhabi Art fair and seen by thousands of visitors. It is conceived as a temporary structure that remains during the week of the art fair at Manarat Al Saadiyat, with the potential to be repurposed or relocated.

The first prize winner is awarded AED 10,000 and the second prize winner awarded AED 5,000.
Space to be used as a welcome area for visitors to scan tickets and to host Abu Dhabi Art talks.
Dimensions 75 – 100 m2 Capacity: 70 people scanning for entering.
Accessible Space for People of Determination and families with strollers.
The total budget for constructing the Pavilion is 150,000 AED which must be considered when developing the design proposal.
Materials: environmentally friendly or sustainable (repurposed or readapted).
The participant has to include a project budget, combined costs of all the materials, and what type of materials will be used.
